Intel confirms the launch date of the Raptor Lake series of desktop processors on October 17

The release dates for Intel's 14th generation desktop Core processors have now been confirmed. The official announcement was made by Intel China's account on Weibo, a trusted source, setting the launch date for October 17. This announcement can be considered official due to its reliable source.

Accompanied by some teasers, an image depicting the official unveiling date for the Raptor Lake desktop processors was shared.

In addition to the Raptor Lake desktop processors, there are leaks suggesting the launch of 14th generation Core-HX processors for mobile devices. If these leaks are confirmed, we can expect a new range of laptops to hit the markets by the end of this year.

The Core-HX processors from the 14th generation are undoubtedly geared towards the high-end category, targeting gamers, and consume an average of 55 watts of power. It's possible that there will be less powerful variants aimed at the mid-range category.

As for the Raptor Lake desktop processors, they will use the same LGA 1700 socket and will offer a range of 6 versions. The most powerful among them is the Core i9-14900K with 24 cores and 32 threads, while the Core i5-14600K comes with 14 cores and 20 threads.

The Raptor Lake architecture includes the high-performance Raptor Cove core group and the power-efficient Gracemont core group.

It is expected that the prices of the 14th generation processors will be in line with those of the 13th generation, making this new generation attractive to both gamers and users alike without incurring additional costs.

Detailed information about the 14th generation processors will be officially unveiled on October 17.
