X will soon launch new subscription levels

Elon Musk has announced that Platform X intends to soon release two new subscription tiers, confirming previous reports.

The primary owner of the platform has revealed details about these new tiers. The first level of the subscription may be cheaper than the current plan, which costs $8 per month, but it won't include a reduction in ad appearances.

In contrast, the second level will be more expensive and will offer an ad-free experience.

The current subscription plan offers a 50% reduction in ad displays for subscribers, but Musk has not disclosed the prices of these new tiers.

It's worth noting that Platform X is exploring expanding paid subscription options to increase revenue, aligning with global efforts to provide ad-free services.

This move may be a response to a European Union court ruling, which indicates the necessity of offering users the option to subscribe to an ad-free service if they refuse to share their data.

Furthermore, other companies like Meta and TikTok have also announced their intentions to test ad-free options.

It's clear that Musk is seeking to boost X's revenue, as reports indicate a continued decline in ad revenue since his acquisition of the platform.

In an attempt to attract advertisers, the platform has announced figures suggesting approximately 245 million daily active users and 500 million daily shares.
