Google is taking stringent measures to enhance the quality of Android applications

Google has requested new app developers to actively conduct tests on their applications before launching them on the Play Store and making them available to the public.

Developers are required to perform these tests with a group of at least 20 users, and the testing period should last for a minimum of two weeks.

This new decision aims to give developers sufficient time to identify and fix major errors and gather initial feedback about their applications. Google has confirmed that the use of its testing tools leads to installation rates three times higher and increases user engagement with their applications and games.

Android applications have seen significant improvement in recent years, attributed to Google's efforts in updating laws and regulations to enhance the quality and safety of applications.

The new additional tests are part of Google's strategy to improve the quality of applications available on the Play Store.

Google allocates significant resources to test new applications to ensure a reliable and problem-free user experience, especially for sensitive categories such as children.

The company is also working on improving the Play Store with updates that include badges for government applications, showcasing apps suitable for users' devices, and highlighting high-quality local and regional applications.

Google's Play Store is the official store for Android system applications, currently hosting around 2.6 million diverse applications and games.
