Apple intends to make comprehensive changes in the upcoming iOS 18 system

Apple is planning significant updates in the iOS 18 system for iPhone, according to a recent report from the American agency Bloomberg.

The upcoming version is expected to include major improvements in design and performance, in addition to new features that enhance security, giving the system an ambitious and revolutionary character. This comes after a period of relatively minor updates in previous versions of the iOS system.

Bloomberg's report suggests that Apple is counting on iOS 18 to boost sales of the iPhone 16 in the coming year. iOS 14, released in 2020, was the last major update for the iPhone system, with one of its standout features being the support for adding widgets to the home screen.

Although specific features of iOS 18 are not disclosed in the report, it indicates that Apple is heavily relying on AI-driven features and developing large language models internally. There is a focus on improving and updating the Siri personal assistant.

In another development, another Bloomberg report reveals that Apple faced issues and errors in its new systems, including the iOS 18 system, leading to the temporary suspension of the development of some new features.

The new systems are expected to be unveiled during the annual developers' conference, followed by a testing period before the final release to users in the fall.
